Concrete Pole Replacement 212-280 Davis Drive, Newmarket, ON Scheduled Power Outage and Planned Construction

This project has been completed. NT Power thanks all customers affected by this power interruption for their patience. 

Newmarket-Tay Power Distribution Ltd. (“NT Power”) plans to replace electric utility infrastructure at 270 Davis Drive, Newmarket on Sunday October 16, 2022. Work scheduled is to re-install a concrete pole that was temporarily replaced with a wooden pole due to a vehicle accident.

To complete this work in a safe manner, it has been identified a power interruption will be required for the addresses listed below. Power outage will be approximately 8-10 hours starting at 6:00 am. What can you expect?

• Due to the nature of the work, there will be construction-related noise and dust from the equipment and trucks, though every effort to minimize this will be made.
• Access to all buildings will be maintained.
• East bound lanes starting at 212 Davis Drive will have traffic diverted into east bound bus lane around NT Power’s work area. On Track Safety Ltd. traffic services, in conjunction with the police will also be on site.
