The purpose of this policy is to set out NT Power’s environmental directives.
Scope
This policy applies to all employees, board members, officers, and contractors/subcontractors, while working within or outside our service territory.

To fulfil our environmental commitment, NT Power will
- Set measurable environmental goals for the organization.
- Develop, implement, and maintain standards and procedures as part of our environmental management system.
- Provide necessary resources to meet this policy’s commitments.
- Place a focus on reducing impacts and improving environmental performance in our operations.
- Ensure our employees and contractors/subcontractors are aware of their responsibilities and encourage ideas for continuous improvement to enhance our overall effectiveness.
Conduct our operations to meet applicable legal and other requirements to prevent impacts on the environment.
